Surgeons attempt to hide surgical marks in the hairline as a standard practice. The more alarming thing in this is the potential danger for nerve damage. This usually manifests in paralysis and result in temporary or permanent inability to move the muscles in that area on which the procedure was performed.

There is also a possibility of keloids growth (overgrowth of rough, patchy tissue at the site of a healed skin) from cosmetic surgery, and there is no way found out yet. Blood clots in the surgical area can cause problems which can result in blemishes and scars.

The cosmetic surgery’s risk is not as profound as they once were, and as a matter of fact the majority of people get through the surgical procedures without any permanent side effects. Don’t falter to follow up on whatever appointments may be scheduled with your surgeon after the surgery and question the surgeon about any doubts or concerns you might have. Whenever the dressings need to be changed, do those as part of the cosmetic surgery after care routine?

Persons below age 18 should think twice before going under the knife for cosmetic surgery and better postpone it. Their body would not have matured to its final shape. So if they are thinking about Rhinoplasty or breast implants because of the dissatisfaction of their looks…..the best procedure is to wait. There is still plenty of time.
